WATERFALLS WALK
Ingleton,in the Yorkshire Dales

The famous Waterfalls Walk in Ingleton is an 8Km circuitous route over private land taking in two river valleys and providing great dales views. Starting from the carpark you ascend up the valley of the river Twiss passing a number of waterfalls, including Pecca Falls and Hollbush Spout, before the path levels out and continues on to Thornton Force. From Thornton Force the path continues along the river until you cross it and climb towards a track. Turn right onto the track and continue on towards the river Doe which you join at Beezley Farm. From here you descend back towards Ingleton passing another four or five falls. The walk takes around 2 to 2.5 hours and is very enjoyable, suitable shoes/boots are advisable.
